At 11:10 am eastern on Friday, the Sun moves into the progressive minded Aquarius. The next four weeks will center around moving past limitations and being open to new ideas and people.  If you’ve been feeling blocked, Uranus-ruled Aquarius will push you out of your comfort zone to find new ways of solving a problem.   It will teach you to leave no stone un-turned in your quest to blast through the Universe’s hurdles until you hear a hell-yeah.

So if a situation is no longer working out as you’d hoped, the Sun in Aquarius will serve as a catalyst for change into a new direction that makes you happier.  Brainstorm with different groups of people to gain fresh perspectives and unique outlooks.  You never know just where that a-ha moment will get its spark of creation.

September calls us back to the classroom, to put into practice the lessons we’ve learned over last month’s Mercury retrograde and research creative ways to improve both the health and material areas of our lives. Over the next couple of months, you’ll get a chance to review your finances and see where change must be made for future success now that Jupiter has gone retrograde. It’s a chance to restructure your budget, evaluate your investments and re-build your savings account.

Feeling the organizational bug? With September being a ’9′ month in numerology, the emphasis will also be on cleaning house so new opportunities can knock on the proverbial door. So, think about what needs to be let go of, so you can create the space for the new beginnings coming in October. Now that the sun is spending time in Virgo, our plans can finally be grounded in the physical realm, allowing us to create a new schedule and regime that really makes sense.

Mercury joins the Sun in Virgo on September 8th, making our thoughts clearer and focused on the details. Mercury will be a big help in making more confident decisions, as the energy of this transit will encourage discernment and taking one’s time to make sure the choice is the right one. August begins with an abrupt about face when Mercury turns retrograde on August 2nd and begins retracing its steps through Virgo. Over the next three weeks we’ll return to unfinished business, reverse recent decisions we’ve made and discover alternate paths to our goals. The very next day, Mars, the planet of movement, will dive into the emotional sign of Cancer. This will limit our progress and force us inward to discover spiritual direction for our most pressing problems. Archangel Michael is the one to call on during this retrograde phase, known for his ability to address computer, car and communication devices, which are sure to act up during the first two weeks of this month.

Numerologically, August and the sign of Leo resonate to 8, the number that represents personal rebirth, generosity and confidence. As we adjust our visions and go within, a new source of spiritual power and authenticity is sure to emerge. In the Tarot, the Strength card represents authentic power and the ability to tame one’s inner imbalances. We all tend to notice a return to self during this month, and meditating with the Strength card will assure a smooth transition during this transformational and empowering time period.

Mercury will back into Leo on Monday, August 8, opening a ten day window for second chances. Whether we lost out on a job interview, made a less than stellar first impression with a potential relationship or invested our money in a get-rich-quick scheme, we’ll get the opportunity to correct these things. As the planet of communications moves backward through Leo, it is vital that we be mindful of our words and follow through with our commitments.

August 13th’s Aquarius full Moon will generate a number of breakthroughs, reminding us that the Universe is always working behind the scenes on our behalf. This powerful lunation will reveal how what once seemed a disappointment or loss is now beginning to play out as a blessing. If we are still seeking answers for an important problem, we can call on Archangel Uriel during this time, known for his power to provide the perfect solution.

The Leo Sun will hit its peak on Tuesday the 16th and generate a loving and contented energy around us. Though we’ll have to be cautious about looking through rose-colored glasses this week, much of what we see and experience will bring authentic joy and harmony into our lives.

Venus will move into detailed Virgo on Sunday, Aug 21. A few hours later the Moon will move into Gemini and we’ll be on the hunt for new information. Expect the internet to be overloaded with people looking for alternative options to bring their lives into alignment with their ideals. With Venus influencing our thoughts for the next six weeks, dating, decorating, fashion and remodeling websites can expect plenty of hits. This is a phase when we’ll begin to feel the presence of Archangel Chamuel, who represents love in its purest form.

The Sun will make its yearly entrance into Virgo on Tuesday, August 23rd. This transition can bring out our analytical sides, so we must take care not to turn to nitpicking or to try to change the minds or opinions of others. However, we can plant seeds for change by simply acknowledging where adjustments might be needed.

Shared conversation will be a theme on Thursday, August 25th as we reach out to compare notes or gain greater information from those around us. This will result in a valuable review, essential as Mercury returns to forward motion the next day. We can capitalize on this shift by inviting our creative sides to come out and play this weekend while Mercury begins to retrace its steps through self-empowering Leo.

The Virgo new Moon occurs on Sunday, August 28th, marking the fact that important changes will arrive over the next two weeks. If you are looking for improvement in health, finances or career, this is the new Moon to make a wish upon!

Jupiter brings the month to a close by turning retrograde on August 30th. Jupiter carries the energy of fortune and in Taurus, where it will travel backward until Christmas Day, we’ll get the chance to revise, renew or update our physical worlds. Whether we’ve been dealing with health, finance or security issues, this is a four month phase when fate will step in and give us a helping hand.

Open the lines of communication this month as the sun enters the social sign of Gemini through June 21st. With June being the 6th month in numerology, the emphasis will be on reaching out and healing those important relationships in your life with loving dialogue and compassion.

Your throat chakra will get a workout under this Gemini cycle, as the Universe inspires you to speak your truth and stand up for what you believe in. Express yourself through mentorship, teaching, or taking a class to learn something new. Your mind will be activated with messages coming from unexpected places, thanks to Archangel Gabriel’s spiritual presence over the next 30 days.

With Mercury joining the sun in Gemini, creative projects will get the juice to get going so journal up a storm, write articles, publish books and brainstorm new ways to build your platform. Happy Spring! Get back in the driver’s seat of your life. Rock out your ideas this month when the sun hangs out in pioneering Aries through April 20th. With the start of the astrological new year well underway, Aries people, the official go-getters of the zodiac, are feeling the urge to push through the gates and kick start projects with energy and determination. Fueled by Mars in Aries, no one can stand in their way when they are inspired to act on an idea and birth new creativity.

The Mercury retrograde will amp up intuition, so hunches will be Divinely guided. Spend time in meditation and journal to tap into the wisdom found within. Just keep in mind that the retrograde’s backwards motion through Aries calls everyone to retrace their steps and exercise patience, especially when plans need a revision or a new do over before they can move forward.
